A wooden bed is a classic choice. You might think you can’t go far wrong, but there are many things you have to consider before leaping in and making a purchase.
Perhaps your first step should be to measure your room. It’s very easy to dive in and buy the biggest bed possible, but this might not be a wise idea. By taking up too much floor space, you can make you room feel cluttered which can be frustrating.
It might sound stupid, but while measuring, don’t forget that wardrobes and doors need to open. You don’t want to buy a king-size bed and then find you can’t get at your clothes without a struggle. Think of what other furniture you might include as well, if you haven’t got it already. Do you need to leave space for bedside tables or chests of drawers?
Another measurement you should make is your door. Many beds come in components to be put together in the room, but even so, there might be problems getting larger pieces in. Make sure you won’t have any difficulties.
Make sure that you make the right choice with your new wooden bed, by considering the room in which you will put it.
